MHC was engaged by Transport for NSW to support the Centre for Road Safety to develop and implement a state-wide road safety action plan.
What MHC Did
- Design 2026 Road Safety Action Plan structure
- Support delivery and implementation of final action plan and initiatives
- Review existing governance arrangements and design new governance structures
- Develop communications and stakeholder engagement plan
- Develop reporting and monitoring frameworks
- Stakeholder consultation and facilitation (internal and external)
Outcome
A ministerially released 5-year Action Plan that details targets and initiatives to reduce the road toll and serious injuries on NSW roads.
The Centre was very pleased with the strategic and planning support MHC gave us for the Road Safety Action Plan. Their approach was collaborative and efficient, and the partnership integral to the success of the plan.

MHC was engaged by Cancer Australia who were working in partnership with Cancer Council Australia and the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare to support the development a National Cancer Data Framework.



MHC was engaged by Transport for NSW to develop an independent insights report from the NSW Motorcycle Safety Roundtable 2025. The event brought together government agencies, parliamentarians, road safety academics, motorcycle peak bodies and rider trainers to provide valuable insights on motorcycle safety following a concerning rise in motorcycle fatalities in NSW.


MHC was engaged by Transport for NSW (Transport) to write an independent outcomes report from the high profile 2024 NSW Road Safety Forum (Forum). The NSW Road Safety Forum provided an open and collaborative platform to discuss successful ways to reduce road trauma and new opportunities to improve road safety.
