Research Strategy to 2030

This Research Strategy was developed by NSLHD with the support of MH Consulting Group (MHC) The consultation process involved extensive input from over 350 stakeholders including NSLHD executives, clinicians, researchers, consumers and university partners.

What MHC Did

  • Using a strategy blueprint, designed the research strategy in collaboration with the strategy leads
  • Supported the development of the research priority areas and actions underpinning the strategy
  • Supported the development of implementation activities and their sequencing across short-, medium- and long-term horizons
  • Developed indicative success indicators aligned with state-wide research impact domains
  • Undertook extensive consultation and co-design with key stakeholders.

Outcome

Northern Sydney Local Health District Research Strategy to 2030, available here, provides a roadmap for advancing research that transforms care and improves health outcomes for the community. This strategy reflects a shared vision for NSLHD: Leading research today for healthier lives tomorrow, underpinned by collaboration, bold ideas, and a commitment to equity for all consumers, patients and staff.
