Led by Mary Haines, MHC co-designed and operationalised a governance and management framework and established a Project Management Office to support the NSW Health COVID-19 Research Program.

Outcome

A strategic and cohesive program of research was developed to support the NSW Health COVID-19 response, having received positive feedback from internal and external stakeholders.

The NSW Health Program Management Office (PMO) established clear and transparent processes for reporting on performance and research impact, communicating and collaborating.

MHC was engaged by Cancer Australia who were working in partnership with Cancer Council Australia and the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare to support the development a National Cancer Data Framework.

MHC reviewed the Medical Research Future Fund (MRFF) Dementia, Ageing and Aged Care Mission’s progress in: a) supporting dementia, ageing and aged care research in Australia; and b) meeting the objectives set out in the:

MHC was engaged by Transport for NSW to develop an independent insights report from the NSW Motorcycle Safety Roundtable 2025. The event brought together government agencies, parliamentarians, road safety academics, motorcycle peak bodies and rider trainers to provide valuable insights on motorcycle safety following a concerning rise in motorcycle fatalities in NSW.
